About Y. Studio

With a 20-year career in architecture and interior design, HongYing (May) Tan transitioned to a full-time ceramicist in 2022 and founded Y. Studio Design & Craft in Atlanta in 2025, in collaboration with her cousin, ZuLong Liu, a talented sculptor and ceramic artist.  Y. Studio is a distinct creative team dedicated to designing and crafting unique contemporary ceramic vessels, sculptures, and innovative hard porcelain lighting to enliven spaces. Our work blends independent creative spirit with layered yet refined artistic outcomes, infusing elegance with a playful personality to bring joy and relaxation to daily lives.          ​
